We charge a 2.85% annual management fee for all of our services at the Standard Level, which includes wine buying, authentication and fraud detection, storage, insurance, and selling, as well as active management of your portfolio. This fee gets reduced to 2.5% when your portfolio balance exceeds $50,000 (Premium plan) and to 2.25% when your balance exceeds $250,000 (Grand Cru plan).
Although this may seem high when compared to traditional assets, wine investors who do not use Vinovest frequently find themselves paying 10 to 15% of the value of their portfolio every year on these costs. Vinovest’s fee is prorated across the year based on the balance in your account, and a portion of this fee charged on the first of each month for the prior month.
Laws and regulations administered by OFAC impose restrictions on the provision of services to persons, including U.S. citizens and permanent residents, that are located in specified sanctioned jurisdictions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea region of Ukraine. If you travel to these locations, you won’t be able to access your account, and attempted log-ins may lead to account restrictions.
