Why We're Buying
Hundred Acre winery zigs where other wineries zag and the wine world is better for it. Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon explores the possibility of what great wine can be and, in the process, has earned six 100-point ratings from wine critic Robert Parker (2002, 2005, 2007, 2013, 2015, and 2016.) The price tag of this opulent bottle of wine also shot up 33.3% from 2017 to 2021.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard has a deep garnet color. Liquid licorice and molten chocolate leap from the glass with a core of baked plums, chocolate-covered cherries, cumin seed, Sichuan pepper, smoked meats and blackcurrant cordial with a waft of violets. Full-bodied and laden with perfumed fruits, the palate has gorgeous freshness and loads of mineral accents, finishing very long and layered.
