Why We're Buying
Few wines have jumped as much in popularity as Lucien Le Moine Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru in the past few years. The pinot noir from Côte d'Or currently retails around $900 per bottle. The skyrocketing price has only attracted more investors, with the red wine returning 69.3 on investment from 2017 to 2021.

A ripe and very spicy nose features notes of sandalwood, tea, rose petal and a hint of lilac. I very much like the sleek, even satiny, texture to the nicely vibrant flavors that conclude in a slightly drying and short finish. This may well age out but it's a bit awkward today.
