Why We're Buying
Unofficially, Château Nénin doesn't have a classification. That hasn't stopped the Pomerol estate from producing world-class wine. Its eponymous Bordeaux red blend offers a serene blend of merlot, cabernet franc, and cabernet sauvignon. The 2015 vintage also earned two stars from Guide Hachette des Vins.

A blend of 64% Merlot and 36% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Nenin delivers aromas of cherries, violets, sweet berries and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, deep and fleshy palate that's rich, succulent and seamless, its ample core of fruit largely concealing its sweet, powdery tannins. 93-95
