The 2018 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru has turned out very nicely, unwinding in the glass with aromas of blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate, sweet soil tones and peonies. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's deep and youthfully reserved, with powdery tannins, succulent acids and chalky grip on the finish. (WK)
