The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Maltroye 1er Cru has a fresh, quite linear bouquet with crushed stone and light yellow flower aromas. It just needs a little more intensity. The palate is lightly spiced on the entry with modest weight, yet is cohesive with white pepper and ginger enlivening the finish. This is a delightful, pretty Chassagne-Montrachet. 90-92
