Critics Scores
Vinous
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Champ Canet 1er Cru has a crisp, slightly menthol bouquet that manifests more mineral/flinty aromas with aeration. It comes across more exotic than Boillot's Les Referts. The palate is well balanced with a fresh entry, a fine bead of acidity, subtle tropical notes of passion fruit and pineapple developing towards the finish. This is a delicious Champ Canet, one that will be difficult to resist in its youth. Drinking window: 2022-2035.
