Fine Wine

Why Fine Wine

Wine is a passion asset first — a collectible you can hold, visit, and one day drink. Build a cellar of investment-grade bottles, authenticated and cellared for you, with the guidance of the Master Sommeliers on our Advisory Council.

A collection worth building

Everything that makes fine wine a joy to own — the provenance, the community, the patience — handled for you.

  • Build a cellar

Start a collection of investment-grade wines — Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and beyond — curated to your taste, without a cellar of your own to maintain.

  • Provenance you can trust

Every bottle is assigned to you, authenticity-checked, and tracked from the source to a bonded warehouse, so its story and condition are never in question.

  • Community & access

Join producer tastings, vineyard visits, and Vinovest Experiences, and learn as your collection grows — with guidance from the Master Sommeliers on our Advisory Council.

  • Value that has endured

Fine wine has been prized for centuries as a store of value, sought by collectors through changing economic cycles — a collectible history, not a forecast.

  • Storage & insurance included

Climate-controlled bonded storage keeps duty and VAT deferred until you take a bottle home, and every bottle is insured at full replacement value against theft, fire, and accidental damage.

  • Full ownership & delivery

You own every bottle 100%. Request delivery to your door to drink whenever you like, or keep it cellared and insured until you decide to sell.

One of life’s great pleasures — cellared, insured, and truly yours.

How Vinovest works for wine

    Share your taste

Tell us your goals and preferences, and our team drafts a cellar plan with input from our Advisory Council.

    We source & authenticate

We acquire investment-grade bottles from estates, négociants, and premier auction houses, then verify every one.

  3. 03

    We store & insure

Your wine rests in climate-controlled bonded warehouses, fully insured, while you track it online.

  4. 04

    Sell or savor

Hold, list bottles on the marketplace, or have them shipped to your door to drink. You own them 100%.

Wine questions, answered

Do I actually own the wine?

Yes. You own every bottle in your collection outright. We store and insure it for you, and you can request delivery to drink it at any time.

Where is my wine stored?

In climate-controlled bonded warehouses. Bonded storage means duty and VAT are deferred while your wine is held, and each bottle is insured at full market value.

How is a wine chosen for my cellar?

Our team, with input from the Master Sommeliers on our Advisory Council, selects investment-grade wines suited to your taste and goals — sourced from estates, négociants, and premier auction houses.

What does it cost to start?

Fine wine collections on Vinovest start at a $5,000 minimum. Storage, insurance, and authentication are included in a simple annual fee.

Can I take delivery of my wine, or drink it?

Anytime. You can request a withdrawal and have bottles delivered to your door to drink or share, or transferred to another bonded warehouse. It is your wine.

How do I keep track of my collection?

Your online dashboard shows every bottle, where it is stored, and current market pricing from Liv-ex. Historical market movement varies and past performance is not indicative of future results.

Can I sell my wine?

Yes. When you are ready, list bottles on the Vinovest marketplace or have our team coordinate a sale with premium buyers. Historical market movement varies; past performance is not indicative of future results.
