Domaine Coquard-Loison-Fleurot Vosne-Romanée is a blend of two different lieux-dits. The two climats contribute to a whole that’s greater than the sum of their parts. Ripe cherries, red berries, cedar, and earthiness form an aromatic cornucopia. Investors can safely age this pinot noir for up to 40 years.

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, which comes in at 14.4 alcohol this year, does feel a little smudged on the nose compared to other crus. The palate is ripe and heady with opulent black and blueberry fruit, displaying fine acidity and white pepper and thyme toward the finish.
