Critics Scores
Burghound.com
A ripe if restrained nose consists of citrus peel, green apple, floral and spice scents, all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to mention. There is a bit more volume to the rich, powerful and nicely delineated flavors that are less refined but more mineral-driven and particularly so on the impressively long finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. Barrel Sample: 91-94
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Bursting from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, fresh pear, dried flowers, toasted nuts and fresh pastry, Faiveley's 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, lively and incisive, with good concentration and chalky structuring extract, concluding with a long, precise and mineral finish. Barrel Sample: 93-95
