Why We're Buying
Fox Creek Cabernet Sauvignon helped put Southern Australian wine on the map. It's dynamic, concentrated, thick, and smoky. Wine critic Robert Parker even hailed the 1992 vintage as "a true blockbuster." It's also taken off in popularity, with the price shooting up 225 in 2020.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is brilliant. Opaque black/purple-colored with an explosive nose of licorice, blackberry, cassis, tar, and new oak, this huge, ripe wine (it was aged in 100 new French oak) is layered, thick, smoky, concentrated, and a true blockbuster from this superb vintage. One thousand five-hundred cases were produced.
