How is Mionetto Prosecco made?

Here are the steps in the Mionetto Prosecco winemaking process:

  • Primary fermentation: Once the grapes have been harvested and pressed in a pneumatic press, the clear juice undergoes a temperature-controlled fermentation process.
  • Secondary fermentation: Secondary fermentation is completed using the Charmat method, where the wine is placed in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This process protects the flavors and aromas of the Prosecco. 
  • Bottling: The dead lees are removed through filtration and the sparkling wine is bottled in a pressurized environment. 

The result is an eloquent sparkling wine with floral aromas and fruity, uncomplicated flavors.
