Ruinart Blanc de Blancs are served best at 50°F-54°F (10°C-12°C) in classic Champagne flutes.

These sparkling wines perfectly complement seafood dishes like sea bass, bream tartare, and seared sole.

They also pair well with semi-firm cheese.

How Is Ruinart Blanc de Blanc Made?

ruinart-blanc-de-blanc-4.jpg

Unlike Champagnes, typically made from a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, Blanc de Blancs are solely made from white grape varieties.

The Ruinart Blanc de Blancs wines are made from cool climate Chardonnay. The fruit is sourced from Côte des Blanc and Montagne de Reims vineyards for aromatic refinement and supplemented by Sézannais wines for enhanced maturity.

The winemaker also mixes reserve wines into the non-vintage blend to increase its intensity.

The wine is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to produce sparkling wine. It is then aged in Ruinart’s subterranean cellars.
