Elegantly detailed and powerful with a strong spicy thread that carries a web of terroir-derived interest. The deeply spicy oak draws out the fruit’s inherent nature. Eden Valley sage and caramelized charcuterie with a core of blackberry and plum fruits. Modern and authentic but not quite as multi-dimensional as the Hill of Grace. However, it still shows all the swagger and focused power that comes from this part of the Eden Valley. Ballet-like poise and class. Superb now, but better from 2020.
