The 2016 Wiltinger Braune Kupp Riesling Spätlese has a very delicate slate and ripe yet fine Spätlese aroma. Lush, round and piquant on the palate, the 2016 reveals an exciting mineral freshness and attractive juiciness, with crisp and stimulating fruit notes. The finish is tight, fresh and grippy, indicating very good aging potential. I’d recommend cellaring this wine for at least another 10 years.
