Mosel Fine Wines
This offers a stunningly complex and refined nose of yellow flowers, almond paste, apricot, date, honey, herbs, and smoky elements. The wine is breathtakingly filigreed on the palate, where more ripe fruity flavors mingle with almond and marzipan. Despite its oily and slightly viscous structure, it proves exquisitely airy in the finish and leaves one with a gorgeously honeyed after-taste. The delicacy and intensity are truly remarkable. Despite being already almost 20 years old, this remarkably vital and youthful BA still needs another couple of years (if not a full decade) to unfold its full glorious complexity as the wine is still developing positively in the glass. Expect no less than perfection at maturity! 2024-2069”
