G.B. Burlotto produces four cru-caliber wines, including Barolo Cannubi. It's sourced entirely from the Cannubi vineyard, contributing to a deep intensity and a wonderful fusion of flavors and aromas. The 2017 Barolo Cannubi is enveloping and sensual right out of the gate. At the same time, it has plenty of tannic underpinning, which gives shape and real sense of direction. Like all the 2017s here, the Cannubi is decidedly mid weight in feel.
