mauro molino, barolo, conca 2013
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2013 Barolo Conca offers a powerful and savory approach. The nose is dark and luscious with generous fruit layering and balanced intensity. That fruit is tightly knit together with important acidity and a firm tannic structure that bodes well for the future cellar aging of this Barolo from La Morra.
Fascinating aromas of walnuts, dark berries and hazelnuts, yet this remains subtle and complex. Full-bodied and very intense with sliced berries, orange peel and cream. Goes on for minutes. Very fine. Drink in 2020.
