The 190-hectare Chateau La Tour Carnet vineyard is one of the largest Bordeaux estates. The terroir is composed of gravel, clay, and limestone soil. 

The grape varieties grown in this Medoc vineyard are:

The average vine age is 30 years, and the vine density is 8,000-10,000 vines per hectare.

The grapes are fermented in wooden and stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is done in wooden vats. The wine is aged for 18 months, in a 60% new French oak barrel and then in a clay amorpha. 

Annually, the estate produces 15,000 cases of the Grand Vin and 9,000 cases of the second wine.
