2010 had a cold winter, followed by a dry spring. The warm summer was rainy, resulting in the development of botrytis mold in many of Dom Perignon’s Grand Cru vineyards.

Despite the problematic weather in 2010, Dom Perignon decided to launch a new vintage.

Since around 20% of the Dom Perignon Pinot Noir grapes were affected by botrytis, the Cellar Master created a Cuvee with higher Chardonnay content.

The result was a refined blend made with 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir grape varieties.
