2013 domaine rostaing, cote rotie, la landonne
Why We're Buying
Definition. Lushness. Energy. They come together to form to Domaine René Rostaing Côte-Rôtie La Landonne. The syrah reinforces why the estate is among the most well-regarded producers in the appellation, along with Maison Guigal. If you invest in this boozy red wine, give it at least five years to develop.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
About as voluptuous and sexy as la Landonne I've tasted from Rene, the 2013 Cote Rotie la Landonne excels in the vintage and offers rock star notes of violets, black and blue fruits, olive and pepper. Full-bodied, layered, beautifully concentrated and with ripe tannin, it needs 4-5 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades or more.
