Critics Scores
Jeb Dunnuck
I was able to taste two Condrieu from Clos de la Bonnette, both being solid wines. Coming all from the Côte Bonnette lieu-dit (all granite soils), the 2016 Condrieu Legende Bonneta offers attractive spice, apple blossom and tangerine notes in a medium-bodied, clean, fresh, classic style. Drink it over the coming 3-4 years.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Fermented and aged in used barrels, the 2016 Condrieu Legende Bonnetta comes from the older vines on the estate. It shows a pronounced crushed-stone accent on the nose but also floral notes and hints of pineapple and apricot. It's clean, refined and refreshing, fleshy without being fat, and should drink well for a few more years after release.
